"Your mind is like a parachute; it works best when it's open."
—My life is my message
–I am a Yoga Teacher, Ayurveda – Thai Massage Therapist, Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist!
I was born and raised in Kerala, Southern India, the natural home and birthplace of Ayurveda. Kerala is India’s most literate, affluent state and also truly beautiful. As a young boy and teenager, I experienced a time when I did not feel at my optimum health, feeling tired and lethargic. Doctors were not able to determine the cause of my feelings and symptoms. It was a chance encounter with one of my father’s books on Yoga and health that caused me to change my diet and ultimately drew me to the practice of Yoga.
Following lifestyle changes, my health radically improved. I was keen to learn more and studied Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Massage, then went on to complete the Sivānanda Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and Advanced Sivananda Training courses at the International Sivananda Yoga Ashram, Neyyar Dam, Kerala, India. After completing teacher training, I began teaching Yoga at the Ashram where I completed the training. I have taught people from all over the world and from many different backgrounds, ages, and abilities.
In 2008, I relocated to the UK, where I studied Thai Yoga Massage. Additionally, I successfully completed a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. I have discovered that my knowledge of Yoga has greatly enriched my practice of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.
My approach to these practices stems directly from the wisdom I have gained through the teachings of my esteemed Guru teachers. I remain dedicated to lifelong learning, continuously expanding my knowledge in Massage, Yoga, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, and personal development.
At the end of 2012, I embarked on a spiritual journey that led me to Switzerland (Basel), where I now share my expertise. Currently, I am teaching Yoga, providing Massages, and offering Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy services throughout Switzerland. My Yoga classes primarily focus on Hatha Yoga in the Sivānanda style, while incorporating beneficial postures from other schools of Yoga to enhance each student's experience. Although the classes are conducted in English, the universal language of smiles transcends any linguistic barriers.
During my Yoga sessions, I incorporate postures suitable for beginners, experienced individuals, and even those who have never tried Yoga before. These postures aim to strengthen both the body and mind. Additionally, breathing exercises are incorporated to enhance the respiratory system, release daily stress, and improve the body's energy flow. At the end of each class, a guided deep relaxation session rejuvenates the body, mind, and spirit.
For those seeking a more personalised experience, I offer private Yoga sessions focused on self-esteem, peace of mind, and cultivating a positive body image.
In the realm of Ayurveda and Thai Yoga Massage, I bring the essence of Traditional Powerful Herbal Ayurvedic Oil, directly sourced from my home in Kerala, India. This oil serves as a fundamental component of the massage practice, promoting overall health and wellness. Each massage session begins with a soothing foot massage, followed by a full-body massage, and concludes with a deeply relaxing Indian Head Massage using special cool herbal oil. Finally, a refreshing face massage with Organic Rose Almond -Jojoba oil leaves you feeling utterly rejuvenated. Notably, participants often experience reduced physical stress levels and heart rate following the massage.
For those seeking spiritual hypnosis and meditation, I have developed unique techniques that may incorporate Pranayama—the science of working with the breath. This technique aids in awakening dormant energy by connecting the body, mind, and spirit through the breath. During the Hypnosis and Meditation sessions, a simple and relaxing foot massage may be applied, although it is not mandatory.
Before each session, whether it be Yoga, Massage, or Hypnosis, we will enjoy a delightful conversation over a cup of green tea. I also extend my assurance that there are no additional charges for session cancellations, even if notified just five minutes before or after the scheduled time. Above all, I wholeheartedly accept and respect you for who you are, without judgment.
